Hey guys, I have a scratch on the hood of my car and the owner of a body shop told me that it can be buffed out...

My questions are:

1) can it be without damagin our paint (answer this with what lil onfo I can give right now )

2) will that area not have the orange peel if he does this and if so won't this look weird (inconsistent)?

if they do it, and buff it too far down to where the paint looks wrong, they will hvae to fix that, but buffing it down will also take down the clearcoat, so they will charge you for that probably too... should find out what you can from them on what will have to be done and possible cost before just saying ok to it
