HDR Attempt #1

HDR is the shiz, if you don't know what it is, check these links:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynamic_range_imaging

http://flickr.com/search/?q=hdr%20evo&w=all

Here is my first attempt, done using a basic canon dig camera and photoshop CS4.

Not amazing, but not aweful IMHO :P

honestly not that great. Use better lighting and backgrop and it'll look 10x's better.

to acheive what your trying do, you need to use a backdrop with a more "high dynamic range" of colors. since your car is dark in color, go and try to set up behind something really bright, at sunset or sunrise or anythign that will provide high contrast. +1 for photomatix

lol, thats the worst HDR ever :P My darks got washed out, but this was a decent job on my neon:

Notice the detail around the front facia and the wheels. That is the stuff you pick up with HDR that you lose with normal photography.
