I have been wanting to do this forever, so on my New Lip I am about to put on I am going to do it! I'm just wondering if you thought it helped with minor scrapes? Do you think it helped with the lips rigidity in the long run?

lol i actually did that a few months back with my apr lip. I have an old 1970 bronco i did that to inside and outside for off road about 12 years ago....the stuff i sprayed on mine is the same material used for glock hand guns. It also adds rigidity to the lip.

it has definately helped with minor scraps. I remember when I used to scrap my lip on the curb, I would feel under the lip and could feel the clear coat scrape off and there would be white dust. but now, it just scratches the rhino liner.

Rigidity, idk because carbon fiber is already stiff to begin with. It might add a little stiffness to the lip. It would definably help a polyurethane lip become more stiff though.

Only issue I have is this...

Why did nobody give me this idea before my lip got shreded by good ole Colorado Springs?!!? Good idea man. Rarely do you see a functional, yet still pleasing to the eye, DIY mod.
