18x10 +15 stock body evo................IX
Dude, srsly, you're definition of clean needs help.
No disrespect to the time and effort you put into modding your Evo, but it's far from "clean". The rear diffuser is way too aggresive compared to the rest of the car. It would be a million times "cleaner" if you just removed the diffuser. Same with the wheels. They're WAY too aggresive for having no body work. They'd look much better with some wide fenders and wider (much wider) tires. The 255's look way too stretched and wannabe-drifto like. Also, the banners (even if they're in support of local shops) kill it.
I guess everyone has their own definition of "clean". From my experience, it usually refers to simple and tasteful.
Like I said though bradder, it's your car. Do what you like. Just don't expect people on the interwebnets to agree with your style and take critisism with a grain of salt.

Take this off, take that off, then it'll just be stock, just like all the haters out there that can get nice/rare/expensive stuff. So your deff is Clean = Stock?
Plz post a non stock looking clean car. or your car, if it's "so clean".
that's flush.
Thank You
it's funny how you didn't post the pic of your car with the carbonfiber hood....

Here is the definition of flush for you:
flush:
–adjective 1. even or level, as with a surface; forming the same plane: The bottom of the window is flush with the floor.
it's ok, we can end this pointless arguement now. you live on the other side of the coast where the styles are different. You don't like my car, fine, u made your comment, good for you. It's obvious it's still in some sort of interest for you to look at my car, because you are still here. And everyone knows 18x10 +15 on stock body ix is pushing it to the max. there will be stretch tires and wheels poking out. well u didn't like, but it's ok, move on, and stop hatin. If you are going to come back hatin, please never come back.
Thank You
ok you win, my car is rice, ok, just go.....

First off, I never said my car was clean. It's far from it, actually. Stock body, spray painted wheels, battle-scarred from racing down mountains, tracks, auto-x, etc. I wash it like once a month. I'll tell you one thing though... she's ****ing fast for her mods.
Second, I didn't say remove everything. Removing the diffuser won't make the car stock. You still got the JDM rear which looks damn fine by itself. Removing the gigantic Civic-esque banners would kill 99.9% of the rice on the car. I never said remove the wheels... I said they'd look much better with the car if it was rocking wide fenders and if you chucked the ghey looking stretched tires. Hell, I rock 255's on my stockers.
Third, haters? Is that what people call others with opinions? I never hated. I don't hate. Hating is a ****ing ghey term for people that don't know how to take criticism or get all emo when someone speaks their mind. Are you emo?
Fourth, can't afford nice/rare/expensive stuff? Please. Some people have these things called priorities. Kinda like going the part instead of just looking pieced together by a 10 year-old that pointed parts out on a website by doing eenie meenie minee mo.
Fifth, like I just stated, clean=simple and tastefull, like adding a nice set of wheels, a nice lip (which you definitely have), a JDM bumper, a nice drop from a functional suspension, and maybe a carbon hood/trunk or wing delete. Nothing crazy like diffusers that don't match the rest of the car or wings that look, well, horrible and don't match the lines at all.
Here's a great example of a clean, not stock looking car:

In a VW forum they would say to an evo without stretch, "You should put some 18x10's and stretch that ****!"
That black EVO is hot. The riced out OP's car is a Civic owners dream. Tasteful is perfect; anything else is just too much. Windshield banners? C'mon guy. We're all in 2008, not 2002 when F&F came out and Civics were awesomeness.
Looks good man.. Are there any further plans for the body? and no one will ever unstand the Yay.. 408 FTW
Love the rear end.. Almost making me want to do that as well.
As far as everyone else wanting you to dismantle the car to look more like theres is stupid... Keep it up.. Voltex widebody would be sick..
