I know Ive seen a 8-9 wing on an x but does anyone know or have seen a big "X" wing on an 8 or 9? Just wanted to see what it looked like...Please post pics!

 

The X's wing is smaller than the 8/9s. Too bad it's lesser quality too, they should have kept it carbon fiber....but no I haven't seen anyone with the X wing yet other than the X, oh and some 08 Lancers.

 

I'm glad they didn't make it Carbon Fiber. You'll be glad too when your X wing hasn't peeled in 2 years.

I saw a pic a few days ago. Looks awful.

 

Peeling clear coat? Never heard of it. My '03's clearcoat was fine up to when I no longer had the car, and that was almost 4 years of ownership, in Salt Lake City. Dunno what everyone elses' problems are. The X spoiler and the tail lights are my two least favorite things.

I thought the 9 wing wasn't actually CF. Does anyone have pics with 8/9 wing on a X?

 

I dont know just from my visualization of it it looks Hideous..

The 8's are full CF. Sides/top
The 9's are half CF (only top blade)

 

That wing just doesn't jive with the X's body lines. The stock X wing looks fine on a X. Too bad its the cheapest plastic wing I have ever seen. Doing away with the CF was a mistake.

For the person that made the peeling comment. That happened pretty much only on 03's. I guess we shouldn't have Brembo's either because they peeled too
