got some rather worn stocko pads on it atm, just took it for a lap around the block, once they settled in my first impressions are it pulls up harder with less pedal effort.

took a bit of fiddling to get em to sit nice, had to move the backing plates as it made them sit wrong, but all good now.

Going to get some other 2nd hand pads this weekend with a bit more meat on em, but yeah very happy

6 point cage fitted

had to remove A pillar trims so put the gauges down near the shifter

got some Hankook Z221 softs for the Nats coming up in August

have fitted a Turbosmart actuator which holds boost a lot better that the original one

have got the boost pretty well sorted now, turbo failed some time ago and is running fine with the HD thrust now fitted to it, now also running United E85 pump fuel

3rd gear VDR run

made it to the local track, Queensland Raceway for a sprint session, was pouring down rain early in the morning and for the first session so it was a bit skatey, the wing was working awesome, by the 3rd a half decent dry line was developing and by then I had first outright for the day, last session 2nd lap my motor cried enough and kicked a rod out (SCAT H beam) and caught fire so luckily I put my extinguishers to good use and saved the car from a fiery death, my mate pipped me at the line by 3 tenths so 2nd outright (39 entrants) was the result, so anyway next motor will be a 2.4 with,

MAGNUS I beam long rods
WISECO HD pistons
OEM crank
GSC R2 cams and springs
GTPumps 762 turbo
5ltr surge tank with twin 044 pumps

in the wet, and doing a bit of off road

motor KO

2.4 purchased

stripped and setting up block, breather fitted

new turbo

pic from GTPumps

Nice one, those magnus (R&R) I beams look great, should hold up well. Going to be very quick with that much power in such a light car. Hope I can see it in action at the next nats

yeah that is the plan, hoping to do a few time attack days prior to get it fully dialed in, it certainly went well at QR so hopefully handling wise it is nearly there, it is not that light either 1340kgs with the cage and me in it

Well that's about 40kg lighter than mine without me in it, if someone dumped 120kg in your back seat you'd feel it for sure. Keep the updates coming
