So it came time to drop the stock CF wing off at the body shop to fix the clear coat that had turned to crap. I figured since I was dropping it off to get worked on I would have them strip all the paint and make the wing full CF. In the middle of the process the body shop calls and says they have an idea that they think looks pretty good. They left some silver on the wing to accent the car, but also stripped the sides to reveal the CF underneath. I think it looks pretty nice and haven't seen it done before. The clear coat looks so much better, too bad I don't have before pictures. Let me know what you think

To answer a few questions:

It cost me $300 to have them do this and was worth every penny as I don't have time to sand hours on end.

They sanded down the whole wing except for the silver portion, then they outlined the side carbon fiber w/ silver strip to get really straight lines. Afterward they shot the whole wing w/ clear coat.
