I rented a '08 C6 from Hertz. It was a fun car to do smokey burnouts, but I would have gotten tired of it in a month. I'd take the Evo over that any old day. But for $40k brand spanking new, it's tempting. C6 Z06 is another story...

Well considering I have both a 2005 MR and 2002 Z06....the Evo is definitely a better all rounded car. It's just more fun to drive..although the Z06 has a lot more power and rwd (which can be fun at times) the Evo would be the one i'd keep if I had to sell..

I thought about making this switch myself. You can have a C5 Z06 for merely 20k these days.

But they're just so damn ugly I couldnt do it

You should do an aggresive cam and a few bolt ons....and that car will be mean for sure. Also, have you considered doing the head light mod that makes your lights look like a new zo6....imo the flip up lights are the only part of your car that isn't great looking.

I did think about doing a cam, but I think I am going to go for a supercharger instead!!

and ya I looked at stationary head lights, but to get a good set is way way to much money.... and I am not going to spend money on that.

I admit the car doest look too cool with the lights open, but the only time they are open is at night.... and you cant really tell anyway.

when they are closed I think it looks great!! cars with flip up lights rock!! esp. when the lights are closed. maked the car look so much cleaner

Here at Kirtland AFB I see about 7-9 vetts aday and only a very few (2)EVO's. I like to be different. I do like the vetts though.

thanks man!! ya nitrous, exhaust and tune can be very fast and very cheap to have!

but a blower for me is def the way to go!! I just have never liked the idea of nitrous.. having to go fill up the bottle, turn it on with the heater, etc... just not near as cool as a supercharger or twin turbo kit.

here are a few pics of the ECS paxton novi kit im looking at getting when i save up the money.

the car in these pics made 545 rwhp with just the blower kit and exhaust!! 100% stock motor

Yeah corvette looks good and I'm sure the girls love it, but they're also a dime a dozen.
