I've had a CF exhaust heat shield on on my bumper for 3 years without any cracks or fading. Just depends on the quality of the Carbon Fiber really. I've also had engine bits not crack or fade for years and it gets hot under the hood!

There is a company that does the full trim for the JDM rear in Carbon Fiber on ebay. I just find it weird sticking a huge piece of CF over top of the JDM rear just for looks.

I figured it wouldnt look that good. The JDM rear is sexy as is.

Is your exhaust manifold coated? or aftermarket? or...?

Thanks, i actually got it from lancershop.com..its not oem but looks exactly like the ukdm badging and i just love it. It really gives the evo that tasteful exotic "not to be ****ed with" look.
