BB or JB?

 

Its supposed to be the latest ball-baring iteration. I've been told its the shiznits so I can't wait to get it installed. Sometime next week my Tomei Genesis engine arrives and the build will commence

 

Upgraded my E-brake shoes.

 

Isnt the Tomei Genesis engine like $23k? And yea thats a bad *** turbo, I have a FP HTA Green JB which is sick, I can only imagine BB is even better

 

I've found it for $15k but why pay that much?

 

I got it for $5k with a HKS twin plate clutch and a few other bits'n'pieces thrown in.



Engine arrived today

Work will start sometime this week, just have to wait for gaskets and a few little bits on order. Added to that my current engine has been sold for $3k, I got $1.5k for my HKS turbo and $1k for my HKS LA clutch (s p).
Engine cost me $5k, turbo cost me $2.5k and work will cost me $2.5k (mates rates)
At the end of the day give or take around $5k -/+ for a Tomei Genesis and a FP Red BB on road = + +

 

Just waiting for the NY weather to warm up so I can install my new pearly whites :-)

Just got my new summer tirer's hankook v12 EVO 245/40 just in time for Oregon meet on the 30th got them of eBay discount tire for 494 the had Black Friday sale and got 50 bucks off

 

^ Nice, Im running the same tire but a 255/35/18. I love them so far (300 miles).

 

Cool. I like them so far ride good and hardly no noise. I have stock Enkei rims how wide could I go with out shims and rolling fenders?
