If you don't mind me asking, does any1 know which lower IC pipes the FP Race turbo outlet pipe will bolt up to? will it bolt up to sock or any direct stock replacement lower ic pipes? The reason i am asking is because I also plan on getting an FP Turbo and don't want to run the stock 1.8" outlet pipe but I currently have an AMS licp.
YOU GUESS IT RIGHT DAMN YOUR GOOD. I LOVE HAVING THE FASTEST CLOSET ON EVOM. Besides i have lots and lots of parts coming in for my Z and evo. Ill continue to post in here as this thread is just cool lets me know what others are doing with there rides. Next up is my 2.3 block for evo and for the Z its the dreaded Twin Turbo kit

the Z and the evo are in different leauges lets not compare them. THey both have there place but ill tell you WOMEN love on the Z hardcore. I still have to get a built motor for the Z i been looking around at some and there is a company in houston that sells built longblocks starting at 4500+core in different stages. I think the stage one is rated at 650whp max so im not looking to push more then 550-600 out of either the Z or evo i just want the ability of both cars to do 700+ if i wanted to. will not happen but its nice to know i have that in the tank
This is what Aniel at fp told me. He would not recommend using or getting the stock pipe you should get the SS one like i did because its wider its will fit BR lower pipe fine any other pipe you might have to cut the ss tube some so it lines up fine. Baiscally the tube is long so cut it according to what your using and bam you have the wider pipe and better looking. So i was like cool ill get that then and when kevin installs all this stuff he can cut the pipe lol.
. especially with the stock frame turbos becoming so popular and capable of putting down alot of power, there has to be a market for that!
lol injen lower/upper does not fit aps intercooler but i got the couplers angled so it would fit. lol things like this helps out my friend. LOL its a metal pipe just cut the damn thing you will never see the cut as it will be coverd by a coupler anyways. looks impressive if your looking into the engine bay really. not to mention the added benifit of the bigger pipe
Agreed. So many people say oh this doesn't fit this, or the angles are too tight and the pipe will couple up weird. Yes, it was not made for it, and yes there might be a little problem but it is easily resurrected. For instance, my Greddy intercooler, new stuff at the time, wouldn't bolt up with the injen pipes. Just cut it and weld it, or take it to a machine shop and they can do it for you for like 5 dollars. Cheap, easy, done. No one will see it, and it will work the exact same.
