wow, sucks to hear that cause the car looks really good. How did it go bout the rod bearing failure?

 

Not sure, maybe from the car runnin low on oil a few times..or a me revin the 2.3 out to 8500+ lots of times ..eitherway..the number 1 rod bearing was missing..lol

 

Very clean good looking car, I know how you feel about the bearing, mine did the same thing on the stocker. It blows..

probably the only thing worse than not having an evo is having one and not being able to drive it ! all in all, it still looks clean =)

 

I fell your pain man. May 08 the motor blew a big hole out cycl 1 and after two months I got another motor in it along with another twin disc..then in October 08 threw another transmission in because mine ended up just ****ing hammered. Then after everything's all good...Christmas eve the turbo popped on me and had to get another turbo in it first week of Jan 09 So I've had my rough times too


My car was no where as clean when it broke I did the motor swap in my friends storage unit

 

^^^looks like very stressful and intense stuff....At least I probably couldn't handle that mess.....WHEW!!!!

 

yea it was rough then I helped my friend a month later put a 2.3 stroker in his evo...for a few months there it was nothing but working on evos

 

wow! guess i aint tha only 1. . . well mine aint broke . . but it aint rydn tha same since i bent tha shht outa my passenger side rear lower control arm. . . i gots hella +camber n a fkkd up wheel . . get @ me if u know wher 2 get that arm cheaper than new @ $385, & a diamond black wheel lower than $850. . . good lookn!
