i bought it from a member here for a sweet deal. they sell 'em here also on the vendor's section for like $699 i think

thats basically fish eye status, not so great for car pics on the lower end of those numbers, I have a Nikon D50 that i do work with lol, ive been shooting forever, i like my 18-55 mm lens for car photos, just practice different angles on the cars and move in and out phisically with your camera to different spots to get some shots,
lots a practice makes perfect, its so rewarding though when you go home and open the pics on your computer.

Not necessasrily true....the Canon 10-22 and the Tokina 11-16 will not exhibit fisheye unless you are right in front of the lens (both are great lenses as well). The 10-17 Tokina WILL exhibit fisheye
