Nice pics, you guys ever go up to Hawk's Nest. I find those roads a bit better than the Bear Mountain roads and less popo.

 

i think hawk nest are nice too, but too far for most of them.
Also i dont find them better .
i like the lake though, top of the mountain, :0
we could have a BBQ there next summer

 

I'm not really referring to 97 but some really sweet back roads about 10 miles from there. I have never been in my car but only with my bike. My buddy goes and tears up those same roads with his Corvette really early in the AM before the residents wakeup, so I'd imagine it would be just as fun with the Evo. Also, there are some great roads on the PA side across the river that I've just started to explore as well. BBQ sounds sweet though looking forward to it.

 

yeah i used to go to work that way up the goat trail .....its nice views but crappy roads it would be nice if it was recoated...-JOEYD

yeah that is a nice section there. good thing about it you can tape the run longer from the side of the road

 

that is the the road my evo came home on and it never came back on that road again i forgot to add that I bought it from a place in Peekskill. I hated that trip everyday in the winter that road is something else!

 

Those are the best roads for the car but I enjoy taking my bike on that road getting low and pushing hard on those roads
