(The evolution of my evolution)
With the t-bolts I have never had an issue so take it for what its worth. Honestly though, I felt like the bumper was really tight against the piping so I just used my dremel tool and cut out each side.
I think it came out really nice anyway...and since the viii front looks poor imo to begin with it gives the car some character.
My shop welded the test pipe portion into the bottom part of my downpipe (I am running a different downpipe for my shearer header and FP turbo than what QTP makes for our cars....so it had to be custom welded in)
Here is the ironic part. I literaly make NO extra power on the dyno with it open. This is a testament to Buschur's turbo back exhaust with test pipe.....I was going to go back to a stock rear section for a quiter set up but decided against it.
So now the cutout is honestly just to open around town or on the highway so everyone in a mile radius looks and wonders why my car is retardedly loud. Its actually fun at low speeds because you can here the turbo spool up like its in the cabin.
Look in my signature for a pic of the cutout under the car. The cat in the pic is no longer there btw.
