people that say "anything" is played out are out to get the approval of others. They buy the "best" (most expensive, or what everyone seems to want) stuff and flaunt it around so everyone else can "ooh" and "aahhh" about it.

Just do it for yourself and **** everybody else. RPF1s are bad *** rims for the price.

I don't know about anyone else, but I chose RPF1s for their low weight and quality at a reasonable price. I'm not exactly sure what played out means, but I suspect that it doesn't have much to do with a similar set of concerns.

A.... What? RPF1 are badly played out . I went to Sema last year and not only were they everywhere, but I even saw a red evo with SBC ones just like mine!

No one is questioning their awesome value

You can see a rim everywhere you look and start to loose interest in it and then call them played out and it's got nothing to do with getting approval or trying to buy the best

hey i would love to get some rare jdm non "played out" wheels but i am never going to be able to to or want to drop 3k+ on wheels. I needed an extra set for dd and light track use, (got em 900 new), light weight (16.5lbs for 17x9.5), and good looking. i think they look great are very light and are sweet wheels.

i always try to go for my own style and if someone wants to call it played out then let em, its all good. prob cant afford or know the real reason track junkies buy these wheels.

For show cars, I guess I can see how they are "played" out. But show cars are just copy cats of real cars.

But what do I now, I like my played out OEM Mitsubishi BBS wheels right now.

Here's mine. Not forged but in 18's. I no longer have my VIII but still have the wheels. Not sure if they'll look good on my new to me silver 9 mr so I haven't tried yet.
