I put my heart and soul inot this baby. tell me if she needs any work =]

my Carbon fiber hood is starting to loose its clear coat, i know. maybe someone can give me some tips as to how i can repair that. lol.

 

NICE! what u can do is sand the CF and then spray few coat of Clear coat on it. it should be good as new.

 

can i do that to the wing too? the clear coat is also peeling off that too.... **** florida.... seriously. lol

 

Yup. just bring it to the body shop they can do it for u too. it's just the clear coat on it suck! but other then that..NICE EVO

 

oh. and i dont know if you can see it that well in the picture, but the sparkly red paint is peeling off my engine too. lol. can i order like, some touch up paint for that from Mitsubishi?

 

thanks man. i realy do love my car. i fought tooth and nail to get it. i had to sell almost everything i own to get enough money to buy it, let alone mod the hell outa it, lmao. it realy makes me happy. i love driving, if anything EVER pisses me off i can just hop in my car and go for a spin and i feel great. just the sound of the SSQ BOV calms my brain...... *Vroooom cherp cherp cherp cherp* lol.

 

on the valve cover? u have to get some high temp paint, most of the time people just sand it down and paint the whole thing or get it powder coated. There is no touch up paint for the valve cover.

 

i know how that feels like, anything u work hard to earn always puts a smile on your face. lol, when i am in a thinking mood or pissed off mood i go driving too!

 

crap. i have looked for high temp paint of the same color but i just cant find it. i guess ill just sand it down and repaint it or get it powdercoated like you said. powder coating keeps the cover cooler if im not mistaken, right?

i donno about keeping the valve cover cool. it's basically paint so i don't think it will keep it cool. but u should try to match the car color, that would look sick.

 

hmm.. i have an idea of how i would want it to look. i was thinking about once i got my car to or over 400 WHP and i upgrade the trancfer case to start deckin it out to look like a evo viii version of the JUN exo x =]

well my friend Powdercoated his SRT-4s valve cover with some crazy ceramic compound and it actualy keeps the engine cooler.

 

maybe, i don't know too much about powder coating, i plan to keep the red cover so it matches my red Nisei IC piping. lol
