^yeah its all in the lighting of the pics guys. its amber film. i mean my car looks pink in some pics too. so, judge the color accordingly.

See the problem I was having was that after you cut apart the lens from the housing I had that clear discoloration and I tried spray painting the back of the strip of lens (where the silicone is applied) black. Still didn't come out right. I ****ed the first one up but the second one came out pretty solid. I also used a clear silicone, maybe black is a must for next time.

Any tips for covering up the discoloration on the lens? I'm going to get a cheap set of headlights and attempt this again.... I'm determined!

did you put pinstriping around the edge of the tail? It looks like there is a rim of darkness around the edge?
