Went Paint Crazy Today!!!

Well because everything is already off the car I decided to do some painting, valve cover was all chipped up, heat shield, and exhaust manifold like like butt. The intake well I like the samco hose look

I used Fusion paint for valve cover, intake pipe (used before on previous valve cover on my dsm held up great) I figured the blue will match my uicp, and tial bov

Used VHT Flat Black manifold/header paint (2000 degree rated) for exhaust manifold

Used VHT Silver manifold/header paint (2000 degree rated) for heat shield

Thanks man, I just hope the exhaust manifold doesn't begin to chip. Oh well I am going to try to pick up a tubular manifold in the near future.

Thanks man, I have seen it kinda be a hit or miss. I put VERY light coats so I guess we will see. I will report back in a few weeks of driving and see how it does.

Hopefully it lasts. Did you sandblast it before painting. If so it should last a bit. But if its gonna turn it will do it the first time the manifold gets hot.
