I love how the Germans & Italians can take an engine of a smaller displacement (ex. 5.2L, 4.2L) with more cylinders and can put out the same horsepower (or more) as its american counterpart with more displacement and fewer cylinders. I'll take the higher revving, more responsive european V8 over a torquier american V8 anyday of the week. Audi = Badass with class

Audis were never bullet trains, thats what AMG is famous for. audis were always heavy and even somewhat cumbersome - the S6 is a 4400lb vehicle... that being said, the best my S6 did, was 0-60 in 4.6, and 1/4 mile at 13.0@108 (empty gas tank and brake torquing ). very respectable for a full size luxry car (this was exotic car territory until a few years ago).
