The amber from the headlights makes it look weird.

 

i spent about 3 total hours on prep, clean every inch of the wheel, sanded the gloss on the stock paint until the whole wheel was dull, took a scotch pad and cleaned it with warm water and soap. No primer needed, the stock paint was in good condition, no curb rashes! Painted bout 3-4 coats of paint and cleared bout 2-3 coats.

 

i've always wanted odd color wheels but i don't have the "*****" to spend the money on some nice 18x9.5 or 18x10 wheels so...

 

looks great, did u do it with the tire on.

 

WHEN i sell it, i figure i should trade in my car with the stockers and sell my works to someone who wants bada$$ wheels at a discount.

yes, look carefully and you can see overspray, i tried hard to tape off but ya know, i'm not a bodyshop guy.

 

I thougt about painting my wheels to.I have a couple of rashes but cant decide what color I want I have an apex so i'm thinking flatblack,gunmetal.

did you paint just the face of the wheels? or inside too?

i painted the inside a flat black, thought it'd be easier to maintain.
