Went out this afternoon and snapped a few pics on my Rebel XSI (kit lens). This is my first real shoot with my DSLR. I drove around for a little to get some nice backgrounds but it was freezing and everything was snowy. Anyways I tried to get a little creative with the shots but I still need a tripod, I know.. Hope you enjoy, please C&C is welcome, anything to help me shoot better.

My car looked the same way on Saturday but I ended up washing it. Nice to see yet another Evo from around this area. Also, are you a hockey fan? because you live in 2 great hockey cities. Doesn't get much better than that IMO.

 

God I love Rally Red. Sometimes I wish I had gotten that instead. Sometimes.

 

I wish I got WW... they look amazing with some exterior work but my 2nd choice was GG and that's what I ended up buying but either way we made a great choice on what car to buy. I can't picture driving anything else right now.

oh yeah believe me my friends up here dont let me live down the bruins we just watched the allstar game tonight at a sports bar/restraunt. They really go nuts up here for their hockey lol

 

Lol. I know when I have a few friends over to watch the hockey games we go nuts. I love watching the Bruins and hopefully this will be the year.

Those are some great shots. I have the Rebel XT with the kit lens; a tripod helps a lot. But from the looks of it, you have a steady hand lol.

O man.. that Salt Is eating away your clear coat.. I hate winter salt for that reason.

 

Thanks. Yeah I dont get too worried about camera shake because my shutter speeds were pretty fast and I have a decent hand lol. The Image Stabilization was on too which helps but I deff need to invest in a quality tripod. Helps with the camera angle too because if the notice the last pic I had to adjust it in photoshop because it was crooked lol. I will deff need one for night shoots though. Thanks to everyone for their posts .
