Those seats look good in a CT9A. They have very good side bolstering.

My nephew wants to trade his X seats for my IXs but now I know it will be a lot of work and welding.

I would never give up the 9 seats. They are the best of the 3 gens.

I love the X seats, but too bad they have fabric backs. My kids would destroy them really fast. I suppose a shop could fix that pretty easily, then again this post is sort of pointless since nobody else here is going to care about this are they? LOL

Looks good. How much do the X seats weigh compared to the VIII? I'd think they're a bit heavier.

I think the weight was similiar...don't recal exactly though. After having them for a while the X seats are much more comfortable while holding me better.

I would never go back to the 8 seats.

I can't be the only one thinking that the stock 8 seats would make sweet gaming seats...
Did you fab up a taller mount for the 8 seats, or just slam them on the ground and sit on them. lol
I'm interested in the gaming seat!
