paint the hood and lip white but leave the vents on the hood carbon fiber

 

oh im in oceanside but okay guys thanks for the great imput at the start of today i wasnt gonna paint the hood or roof but im pretty sure im gonna go with this look

paint hood but leave vents carbon
paint roof black and add VG since its an RS
add stock carbon evo 8 wing since its wingless
leave front lip all carbon

so it should look like this

 

any one know how much an oem vortex generator costs from mitsubishi?
any other brand and place i could get one?

vortex generator is ~ $250 I think .. otherwise check sites like www.lancershop.com .. yep:

isn't the carbon fiber heavier than the stock aluminum hood? i do like how it looks though, especially on a white evo, mmmm

 

thanks and yeah people "say" carbon hoods are heavier but this one isnt ... ill weigh it tonight and let you know
