new pic of the one and only 118k EVO IX MR

had an autocross event this weekend, and finished #1 in my class (SM), and 4th fastest overall out of 100+ cars. The 3 drivers that finished ahead of me were on r-comp slicks vs me on RT-615's. they were only a second or so ahead of me. if i had been on slicks i would have taken fastest time of the day. oh well, slicks are on the way so we'll see.

oh and yeah, that's not a typo. 118k and still ballin out of control lol

no, that's everything. the car still has all it's original parts other than the mods. the mods on the car were all done before the car hit 20k though. so they have all be there for the bulk of the 118k. mods are in my sig.

Just goes to show these cars can be raced and be reliable as long as they are well maintained! Keep up the good work buddy and congrats on your win!

Your accomplishments make me feel even more proud of my Evo. But I got a long way to go on the mileage...I'm at the 25,000 mile mark currently.

I am close to 50k on my evo. It bothers me sometimes that its going to have 100k on it before its paid off. I usually put about 2k miles a month on it due to my commute to work. I am confident that if I keep it maintained well, it will last well beyond 100k. I bought my 1992 Talon TSI for $600 four years ago and it had 175k on it, and it still ran!! Pretty good too!

Congrats on the win though! Makes me feel good to know the cars are reliable beyond 100k!

Anthony

way to go brother! I'm in the 99k range on my 04 and I race her all the time too.
Just did a 900+ mile trip to a winter driving school last weekend and she performed flawlessly.
These are VERY reliable vehicles as long as you take car of them.
