the pics are real cool and all, but they are making me dizzy man. Whatever happened the nice and level pic? One pic I turn my head to the left and the next pic I have to turn my head to the right. I've never worked so hard to look at a picture. Maybe I'm not up-to-date with the whole artsy world. But still cool... ow my neck!

NOT FLAMING the owner of the plates... (I have them too)

Keep in mind that those are "REPLICA" JDM plates.

JDM plates do not have BLACK BORDERS. (so color match and paint the borders)

ALL these replica plates have the same Prefecture (City) used... "Nagano" and they all use the same Japanese alphabet character on the bottom left. Pronounced "seh" alpha character.

They are actually pressed and painted plates like normal. And you usually can order them with numbers of your choice (usually 4 digits). I don't have names of sellers as I bought my set back in 93".

Just pointing this out for "JDM purists".

My statements are based on numerous trips to Japan, knowledge of the Japanese language, magazines, pictures of JDM plates and interview with (probably one of many) manufacturers of the replicas.

What's wrong with that "dumb front plate" on a BMW? It's a European car, anything wrong with putting that? It's not just BMW's that put it, it's also other European car owners that also do that as well.

If I wanted to, I'd put a Japanese license plate on mine, nothing wrong with some more JDM flavor
