well I am thinking about lowering my profile and going wingless. I feel that its wrong to mutilate an Evo but I just don't like getting followed by cops anymore.

is there a way to remove the spoiler from the stock trunk and fill the holes cleanly? I would like a carbon version, but I would want the hood too and my check book is a little tight right now and I need to get on the dyno soon.

 

Unless you want to get the holes filled by a body shop and have the trunk repainted (permanent solution) then you'll have to do it with either plugs or vinyl. When I went wingless for a while and I tried the plugs but I never found any that fit. So then I tried vinyl and that worked really well for temporary purposes.
