i have a blue by you evo, and i plan on taking the whole carbon fiber route with it. this is my favorite OEM color that they make the evo, that's why i got it - but i have so many paint chips in my hood, and in the door jams. luckily, my fiance's father has a body shop, and i can get this painted any color i want. should i just get it painted blue by you again, or something completely different.

i just wanted some opinions because you really don't see too many evos with after market paint jobs, other than that orange one lol. i was thinking maybe a house of kolors job, or a light lambo blue. any opinions would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

 

A lighter lambo blue would be suttle but eye catching. I've got no ideas on color...I prefer white over anything. Get something you like though, having a color you don't like will just be a constant battle with having a car you aren't completely happy with.

By the way I saw a Pink Evo in Michigan during the NASCAR/Woodward Cruise weekend.

 

That is one of the hardest decisions to make with a car! I would like to repaint my black evo. It will be awhile before I do that though. Unless you want to pull the motor out, try to stick with a similar color. With a black engine bay, I feel your open to more colors. It doesnt look so bad for a car to have a black engine bay. But any other color, you really should paint the bay with it.

So, if it helps at all, repaint it bby or something similar and save you some time on pulling the motor.

P.S. Prepping an engine bay sucks!!

This might be an expensive route, but there are some sick *** colors from Maziora (think Bride Gias Maziora). If I could repaint my car, I'd probably get something from there. It might be a ***** to get the paint, especially cause it's from Japan and you can't really navigate the site unless you know Japanese.

I really like white...If your going to go with a unique paint job, Id rock out Midnight blue.

 

Chameleon is acceptable on the maziora brides...they provide the correct expression of "I got cash money."

If the car is a clean titled car I would leave the color stock, but if the car is a salvage or rebuilt titled car I would try to do something different for sure...
