damn, got a quote for $500 powder coating job. Sheeeet...

I'm thinking I'll invest in a sandblaster myself and do the (BPS) blast, prep, and spray routine. I've heard BPS will actually last much longer than most people would think. If the rims come out nice, I'll def help anyone else in SoCal that's thinking of doing the same thing.

 

just an update; I'm no longer powder coating my BBS (at all actually). I just though about the $$$ to be spent, how dirty it will get, and how hard they'll be to clean...so instead of waiting for the powder coat I just went ahead and bought my new tires: 255/40/17 S.drive.

some guy is selling his white powder coated IX GSR rims on SCE forum for a good price. I almost picked 'em up from him but they had Falken's on it ...jk. I just though the BBS would look better
