By that logic, Chevy, Dodge, Ford and Toyota must have terribly high insurance rates with all the crashes in NASCRAP.

Automotive insurance doesn't cover motor sports events. There is a separate class of insurance for motor sports that won't affect vehicle crash statistics of road going vehicles.

I'm sure someone can provide the exact details, but I believe the gist is that the co-driver told the driver the next turn was not as sharp, so they did not setup properly. Is it the degrees of the turn (2 vs 5)?
