I think it'd look a lot better with the brace painted either red or black. Still nice though.

 

this has always been my favorite evo but i liked the old look better but i only think its becasue the rest of the car doesnt match the front yet. get a wide body and i think that will help imo. but what do i know i dont even own an evo lol

The beam definitely help tighten up the front a bit. Its definitely a nice aesthetic piece as well. As for the tow hook it's from Nukabe. They have one for the rear as well that looks really nice I might pick the rear one up to match the front.
