i have looked around the "show and shine" forum section and couldn't find the thread to answer my question. i was wondering for any suggestions on cleaning my aftermarket headers. i want to detail my engine bay and want to clean up my headers since they have some minor rust spots. i know they are discolored because of the heat since they are chrome headers. would any metal polish work? any suggestion? thanks for any help.

Steel wool and elbow greez. Or remove the mani and glass blast it, either one will pull the mirror finish off, if there's any left.

 

why is your IM rusting if it's an aftermarket one? who is it made by so I make sure I don't buy that one
