APR Spoiler questions
Ok i would like to see some pics of the arp spoilers on evos. I seen the arp evo but i would like to see it on different colors other than red. I was looking into getting either this or a Voltrex spoiler later this year. Also if any vendor can chim in on pricing as far as extentions etc would be nice. I also wanted to know the 200 version has extentions made for it. Do the other versions have extenetions as well could not find any?? I was told that with out them it sits as high as a OEM spoiler with the extention its roughly 2.5 inches to the base. Thats all the information says. What is the real difference in the 200 300 500 versions. Is it just height??
You're going to save a lot of money with the APR. But I'm not sure which one is more functional. I'd automatcially assume the Voltex, regaurdless of which model.
I'm not sure which Voltex wing this is, but it's by far, IMO, the best aftermarket wing for an Evo.....ever. Hell this Evo in general, is the sickest.....ever

need to keep this thread alive till i get some answers. here are the different spoilers on EVOS
500 series

300 series

200 series

I personally would prefer to buy the 200 then get the extentions to raise it up some but if it does not raise that high then i guess its either 300 or 500 or voltrex but 1800 for a spoiler is kind of crazy if you ask me. These might be the prefect solution. so far it looks like its just all in the height but i dont know how much higher the 500 is can really tell in the pic

yea i know why but these are just as good. the thread is about the difference in the series other than voltrex so please dont go an assume. I hate when evom members do that if you cant contribute a answer then dont post simple as that
its VOLTEX there is no R, and ARP makes fasteners, you mean APR. youve been corrected once already. these wings all serve a function in motor sports.. different wings for different RACING applications. just choose the one you think is going to get you the most points at HIN and let us know the results.
valtrex +voltex= voltrex?
valtrex +voltex= voltrex?

The only pic I have of mine on is from the end of an autocross held on the top of a mountain during Tropical Storm Hanna (phone cam + heavy rain + fog = murky).
I can't say I'm entirely thrilled with my APR front splitter. I have it mounted to the stock front bumper cover. I've noticed on mine and others, due to the natural curve of the lower lip of the bumper cover, it ends up tilting the splitter slightly up at the front. To my knowledge, aerodynamically, it would be much better to have that splitter parallel to the ground, rather than have a slight upward tilt. It just seems more blingy than functional with the tilt; something I am NOT into.
In addition, I ended up contacting APR and purchased an extra hardware kit from them because the splitter seemed to not make as good contact in the front center of the bumper cover as it does the rest of the way around the lip. The way APR has the holes pre-drilled in the splitter, there's a larger gap between the 2 bolts nearest the center than between any other 2 bolts. I drilled 2 more holes, evenly spaced on either side of the exact center, and put 2 more bolts into it. It certainly looks and feels more solid than it had before.
Otherwise, it's been much easier to service the car at the track than when I had the plastic splash guards on. I blew an IC hose at Watkins Glen twice, once with the splash guards and once with the APR splitter. It was a breeze to pull off the bumper cover w/ the splitter on. (I'm a big believer in t-bolt clamps now!)

here are more all 200 series. Im thinking it might be best just to get 300 series because it sits alot higher. Still have not found one with the extentions put on yet.
these are the different types of 200 series i found

here are some more pics of the 500 series could not find any on evos except for that one right now. from the way its looking and my read seems the 500 is made for alot wider cars or a evo with a wide body

more 300 series mean to fit the evo better than any other factory type with nice height on it

more 200 series seems alittle undersized for a evo more for like smaller cars like mazdas or s2000 or toyota syders etc

here what i think not to do with these lol enjoy
