Just bought a crashed evo on an auction and waiting for it to get to florida. theres a shot of the interior and the seats look pretty wierd anyone know where they are from?

 

Those aren't the Recaros

 

They look like the seats from a regular lancer (I got those on my JDM RS) maybe the oem recaros got destroyed so they swaped them with these?

Odds are, the guys that sold you the car swiped the seats out of it to sell as they are worth some bucks and then swapped in a set of Lancer seats to get it by. They KNEW what they were doing and it would make me concerned about what else they might have pulled off the car before selling you what might amount to a bill of goods.

yea i got it crashed from one of my dads friends. he finds crashed cars and fixes them up for a living. i got it for 7.2k so i think it was good. bunch of other pics and everything else looks pretty normal to me.

 

haha im telling you for certain those seats are from an lancer. I know cuz i have that ****in piece of ****. yup its an 02 OZ rally and man it sux lol

 

if you have not sat in the car yet.... don't. get some recaros in there quick!!! lol

im just joking. but the big difference when i get in the lancer on small occasion is the seating position. those seats are so damn high and you'd be sliding around like all hell haha

yeah the cloth 8 seats can be had pretty cheap if you find the right deal
