My 06' Evo IX.
Arm was 90% severed on impact. Car pulled out in front of me while I was doing 50mph. They tryed to re-attatch with no luck. The nerve that controls the up and down movement of your arm was torn from my spinal column on impact, rendering the remains of my arm paralyzed. Sux but Im just glad Im alive.
As a fellow motorcyclist and evo owner, I'm very sorry for your accident. I admire your attitude. I think life is risk and we're all lucky to still be alive. The good news is there are some wicked automatics out there that don't give much up to a manual! Any plans?
1. VW R32
2. BMW 138i
3. Porche 911 turbo.
not to be insensitive, but how do you shift?
I have an acquaintence that is a paralyzed from the waist down...he has a 900+ HP Supra with the TH300 auto. The brakes and throttle are controlled by handles next to the steering wheel. You can imagine him pushing the throttle steering, shifting, and then braking @ 130mph... yeah it's scary! (He also lost his function from a motorcycle accident)
