Operation: Revival of a BBY **56k take a nap**
I think he sold it to another evom member but I dont know who. Basically it was bound to happen, he buys all these different cars that need work and he is in way over his head when it comes to knowledge and money to repair them... so he sells them.
Ugh just read the whole thing to find its an abandoned restore job and a thread revival. Disappointment. This was actually coming along well, was a gas tank, a side skirt and some body work away from a pretty damn good evo. Pity the dude just gave up.

Anyways, five years later I'm just seeing all the replies now. To those that were following this thread I apologize for never updating. I will elaborate for those who were wondering what really happened.
I was laid off from my job back in the 2009 economy crash and did not have the funds to finish the car. No job, and a truck loan at the time forced me to sell it to make ends meet so I wouldn't lose my truck. It was something I had to regretfully do but my credit and daily driver took priority over the Evo project.
The car was sold to a friend from CT who had it repaired, inspected for a rebuilt title and then he sold it to someone from New York. He bought the car solely to fix and flip it for a profit. I have no idea where it ended up after that, but the good news is that it at least was repaired and put back on the road.
Fast forward onto present day..
This story has a happy ending. I've had a new steady job for a few years now. I've worked my way up to a head painter position at my shop, and am doing extremely well. I even got a replacement for the blue Evo.
