I made my IX MR turbo a 25g. Nice way to get some more power yet keep the bolt-on aspect of the stock turbo.

on your manifold, what kind of paint did you use? That looks pretty good in gray color.

Have you had a tuned since the new turbo was swaped out? Im also curious what the numbers are like.

Nope. Thats what im waiting for. Going to get it tuned my next day off from work which is thurs/fri. I went to autozone and bought some high temp paint. Rustoleum makes it actually...great stuff. 20min to dry. I did two coats and it came out great.

nice paint job on the manifold. is it difficult to do? did you have to prime it with anything or any pre-paint preparation at all?

I didnt use any primer or ceramic coating which i probably should have. I noticed some oxidation today on the manifold but cant be sure exactly what its from. Regardless its easy and the mani looks much better than before.

Cant wait to see ur results.... looking to upgrade my turbo also but the waiting time for a FP is like forever so this looks like it could be a good alternative. I also would like to keep the stock appearance.
