so i know this is like the oldest thing to do in the world but i fianlly did it cause i was rear ended by another Evo...

woohoo....no more gay tail lights





they are sooo beautiful new....i dont even want to put them on...

but i did and it was the easiest thing in the world.




and just for fun...the front...im getting the front bumper re-painted so i have to drive around like this for a few days....im getting a lot of weird looks...i duno why....

 

Good work. It will look much better. You know what would finish off the look? Black headlights. Lovin the RS man.

not a fan of jdm VII tails? my friend has it on his rr and it looks perfect.

Clean car and I would give you a weird look if I saw you with no bumper lol

I like driving around without a front bumper. It looks so BA. I only do it when I have to take my IC piping off for something. Then I gather some hand tools, go do a few hard pulls, make sure I don't blow my LICP off and then go home and put it back on

Tails look great. Your front tires appear to be directional, however, rotating in the wrong direction

 

I see you were able to shear off your wheel well liners (near your oil cooler) from not having your front bumper on.... ooops!


Sucks you were rear ended, but the IX rear lights are 10x better than the VIII's. I would have gone JDM rear lights, but it looks good.


I see all the military gear in the back, OIF vet? I am one myself (OIF3).

Looks good, why'd you send them off to get done though? There are some good DIY's in the How To section for blacking out both the front and the back. Either way, you should black out the front's too.

 

i didt send them off, i bought the new...they are Evo 9 tails....and i am going to do the fronts my self eventually.

 

The new tails look good. Be carefull where you park with all your parts so accessible!
