if you do get it i recommend spraying two coats and then while its still sticky throw some clear on it!!! i did 3 coats of clear, i think i stated in my first post. and let it sit for around 12 hrs since i had no paint booth to do it in, left it in my friends dads truck LOL

oh and the clear we used was from Sherwin Williams Auto refinishing. I like the clear they have because it has less of a "yellowish" tint to it....it is actually pretty clear.
I used to be a journeyman painter and I have seen/used clears from Sikkens, PPG, Dupont, Restorers Chioce, and others...like I said Sherwin Williams seemed to be the most "clear"...and is overall painter friendly. The GST "L" is painted with the same brand of paint.

as for clear, i recommend painting the lights then laying the clear on once its slightly sticky to get a better bond on the paint, a short amount of time u got to get cleared by a pro, unless u do it at there shop and then have him step in after ur done in the booth lol
What do the reverse lights look like now in day or night? (when illuminated) I guess it seems strange to me to paint red tint over what should be a clear 'white' light. I'm considering doing this as well.. but would like to see a picture from behind the car when in reverse, maybe with brake lights on as well, as a comparison. If you can/would do that, I'd GREATLY appreciate it!
