My friend just bought a evo and found a generator on e bay for 40 bucks- has anyone on here ever bought 1 off ebay? If so what is the quality like? Im always scared to by stuff from e bay personally.

 

well if its from bayson r its pretty good in my opinion, I mean I was doubtful because of the price too, but once it arrived it looked perfect and mine came with all the 3m tape and install was a snap, I also got the carbon look one too so it looks like real carbon fiber,

 

Damn.. IM reading this thinking WTF??? a Generator for 40.00.. What is going on in CHina.. LOL

 

i bought a black generator off ebay for 34 dollars shipped from a vendor or store or w.e haha....quality was awasome....looks great to.

its on my evo as we speak aha

and for 34 dollars how could i go wrong.

 

i bought mine from speedelement for 60 bucks. couldn't be happier. i would have been pissed if i paid 300 for one then found this one later

 

i bought one from ebay for my old evo 8 like 3 years ago and it fit perfect. Quality was really good. It was $70 then though.

 

I bought mine from eBay for about 160. Its carbon though, fits and looks great! muuuuuch cheaper then any other place i hope

 

I got the bayson r one as well. It fits like a glove!

 

i hear they suck.. fall off easy

 

If installed correctly I don't see how that could possibly happen.

 

dang i was about to buy the titek carbon fiber vortex generator, but now i don't know what to do ! :[

 

i got that one too mine came black but i repainted black and clear coated fit was very nice

well im glad everyone else got a good one ...i bought one of the POS things and it was cracked on both sides i tried to file the shippin insurance they wouldnt do it because it came from china said it had to be done by the seller in china...well he didnt do anything

so my experience sucked i will not buy again

 

true it only comes off with poor installation great example is my buddy with his evo lol, mine was nice and tight, lets just say I had the opportunity to test it up to bout 150mph haha
