So I've had this weird noise coming from the engine bay, sounded like a fuel pump but came from the engine - not the back seat. So after a few tries at locating it I went out and got an automotive stethoscope. Probing around the engine with it made me feel like a doctor giving the annual physical.

"I'm gonna need you to turn your head and cough"



Turns out it was just the oil pump resonating through the oil line I routed for my Accusump. It turned the hose into a fluid filled amplifier.

Yeah the jelly finger is when you check the rear diff fluid.
