Im just curious is it really that bad. I mean they just pull you over pop your hood look for something exotic then say have a good day lol. Dont they have to have a warranty to do that. I suppose you allow them so they dont hold you hostage till they get one. that would get way to annoying enough to move
Bro its that bad here in CA, especially in SD and chula vista where the governator gave the city a 600K grant to combat illegal street racing... All they have to see or hear is a modified exhaust and that gives them a right to pull you over!
Funny thing I just filmed a Public service annoucment for the city of chula vista agianst street racing... LOL, the PSA was called "Too Fast"

They give you a Smog Ref ticket, fines can start at 750$ depending on the citations. You will have to show proof of either fixing it or show proof that its legal. At the Ref Station they will do a visual and smog test.
Get this, when you get a Ref ticket, you aren't allowed to drive your car untill you fix your citations. So your pretty SOL! As for the guys with the 35R setups, they are just playing russian roulette! Sooner or later they might just get caught!
