You do know that the newpaper will offer you nothing for protection. A small rock will go right thru it and onto your paint. Sorry, that was a pointless idea you had.

Plus who knows, maybe the cheap newspaper ink might bleed onto your paint!

And have fun removing the green tape. Hope it wasn't on there for too long!

If he was really interested in protecting the paint I think he would have made an effort to cover the front completely and not put it scattered all over the car. The guy was just bored, as he said.
