My mechanic is a genius. He reccomended the red so I went withbtaht. He provided the nbers and my friend also had it and was more than happy so I felt it would be best for what I was looking for performance wise.

 

Got allot of work done, gaped the plugs and installed them, put on the T-belt and timing covers, painted the idler pulley and alt. pulley, cleaned the clutch and installed it with new disks, new flywheel bolts



Installed the transmission...



Its ready to drop in.

 

Going fast reliably costs big $, eating paying bills... comes second to that.

 

She will always have the option to do something like that down the road. The car will be tuned on E85, and run on it 100% of the time. looking to get near 500ftlbs and 500hp on Buschur's dyno.

So Buschur said there is no way in hell i can get my car tuned before the shootout.. which i figured since everyone and their brother is trying to sit in everything before the shootout ... AMS hasnt answered their phone in an hour.. so i am still waiting waiting waiting..

the car has been with my mechanic for 3 months.. mostly bc we had to wait on the turbo and for Buschur to finish the head....

But it's all coming together... i have confidence that it will run PERFECTLY.. just the waiting sucks lol

I know what you're saying.. my car has sat for over a year now.. i waited on anything from buschur block to head to double pumpers to intercooler piping to intercooler.. you name it.. then i waited a while for the FP hta turbo. and now everything is ready to go and we are having trouble starting it.. hopefully things go better for you good luck with everything..

Built a custom double pump, and fuel line, its got 3/8 fuel all the way from out of the tank into the rail, hogged out the rail and made a fitting for the end too.

The AN push lock fitting on the top is to tall so that is going to be changed, other then that I powered them up and they work fine.

 

just wait for buschur to tune it(it's his head, he probably knows the best tricks to tune it), patience is a virtue

i don't think that db would be to happy that you couldn't wait for him to tune it(you never tried to set an appointment and called last minute obviously, what did you expect?) and went to ams to have it tuned just to save time.

(not saying that chris black isn't a bad *** tuner in his own right) just that buschur was your first choice, stick with him
