Weather actually was fine until the drive home. But it was a long drive for you guys anyway. Next time we should do it down there or at least back in the SL valley, it wasn't worth it to go out there...

Just keep an eye on the Utah Evos thread. I'm sure we'll do at least one or two more meet/bbq type events this summer.

Our friends acted a little too childish and got it closed, I mostly blame Ryan, his temper is probably what broke the camel's back... Nate said they are working on Utahevos.net. I've already been reporting posts on here for the mods... haha. Found one of Robi's where he was selling stuff outside the classifieds area even!!!! Tsk Tsk, vendors breaking rules.

 

Don't understand why they didn't just kick out the ones that weren't following the rules. Its not right to punish everyone when most of us did nothing wrong. So if I read it right we cant start a new Utah evos thread?

Did you guys know that was a rule? I sure didn't. Glad I read the rules I wonder what "advertising" and "representative" means... Seems kinda broad and open, which is what I meant in the other thread when I said the rules have serious problems.

 

That is correct, we cannot start another one. But like the rest of their rules, that is very loosly defined. They didn't say we couldn't start one called Wyoming Evos. Or Rocky Mountain Region Evos...

I think the main reason is the fact they were giving the mods a bunch of backlash over something so trivial...wtf did they think was going to happen? If they act like "preschoolers" they get treated like it.

That thread has been going downhill for a while.

 

Yeah, the mod attack has happened before in that thread, and everyone settled down... This time around we had more people who just couldn't listen. Oh well... An end of a dynasty.
