Check out the paint and detailing section here on EvoM. There are plenty of threads on polishing. The easiest way to get them out is with a random orbital or rotary polisher and some good polishes. It will be tough to get perfect doing it by hand only.

Nice man! I have a ww VIII with the same wheels and Tails sprayed like 7's.. I cant tell from the pic. Did you put the stripes on the blinker part of the light?

 

Nah man i wish, but Im not that precise with my taping. My girl actually taped it up for me, hahaha.

 

I definitely would not use rubbing compound for swirls. You need to get some polish, that would do the trick. Meguiars or Mothers have good polishes. Good Luck!
