Well when you buy the rear fog, it doesn't come with anything but the fog housing and the fog light itself. Most people who do the rear fog mod just do it for show. When it's sunny out again, I'll take the time to figure how to wire the rear fog to the factory evo switch. You could always install a separate switch for it but I rather integrate it into my stock switch.
i ask this because i noticed i had a separate fuse slot for rear fog in my fuse bo
thats where I got mine
It took them 2 weeks for them to send it to me, but I got it a long time ago
Actually, I just used 1 of the wire and light bulb from the STOCK side marker lights that came factory on the back bumper. So it lights up once I turn on my lights on.

oh thats pretty smart.. is it bright at night? u should take some pics of it on
I didn't like dealing w/ FQ Performance, They took forever to reply to my emails and said they shipped it out but then told me they didn't have it in stock and their shipments never came in. Took 2 months and still no fog light so I'm going to get my money back.
on the subject of rear fogs, while it does appear that this is being done for show here in the US, it's actually a useful safety measure when driving in degraded visibility areas. however, since it emits a bright red light, it would be best not to have this always on all the time. if you have a front fog light switch, better if you just tap it to that switch so you can turn them on and off. there's actually a rear fog switch available as well in UK/europe which appears to be half the size of the USDM fog light switch.
while the UKDM rear fogs are indeed a rarity here (only ones i've seen so far are the 2 evos in this thread and a white one with white TEs in the bay area), they are for UK cars, which means they are installed on the right side to match their RHD vehicles. IMO, the EUDM taillight cluster with the integrated rear fog on the left side best matches the US LHD vehicles, if we are talking about the proper use of the rear fog in the strictest sense. just my 2 cents.

yeah I found that out after I made the hole for it and got it painted lol. oh well. It's not blinding at all since I used the same bulb and wires from the side bumper. It emits the same light as the tail lights without braking.
