I used to hate them, and still don't really prefer it, but they do look pretty good with at least a lip on the trunk, and lowered. Just taking the wing off on a stock setup isn't enough IMO. The profile just looks too much like a regular Lancer, not an EVO.

 

Wingless is the way to go.

I've actually been considering doing the same thing. I haven't been wingless since I lowered the car and put the JDM rear on, so I want to go throw the wingless trunk on for awhile...see how it looks.

no doubt we have meets down here all the time I have a friend with a gg evo 9 that live up by you fully built and now with pink wheels.lol but we have alot of cars who hang out pm when your not busy

 

I absolutely love EB, my fav evo color. I'm not so sure on the painted evo9 rims though.
