yea i hear ya! i was going to get a 5 but the dealer wanted 920000 yen(about 9500 in dollar with todays rate). and i was talking them down but no go. so i found this and im very happy with it and i got good deal too.

 

Too bad we don't have many of the older generations of EVO's here. It looks great, congrats!

I will try too, if not then i will sell it and use that money to get an EVO in the States. But i will save money and try (finger cross)!

 

Do some searching and remeber buy the container at least 6 months out and there is a company in cali that for like 6-12k can get it there andhave all the parts for it to be legalized in the US and you just have to go pick her up and take the nice long drive back.

 

yea i was told one way is to gut it and send parts to the states and send the body in a crate and the engine iwith my household goods get all the parts and rebuild it and register it as a kit car in FL (hopefully that my next base after japan). but i still got 4 yrs in Okinawa til then. but i will keep tabs and learn more on that subject. thanks for you help and suggestion.

here are some pics of took of some of my modd i did on the car.the Strut Bar and the exhaust pipe i sanded, clean and spray them down for a custom look.
this the strut i did, it was white(where the red is now) and black.
this is the engine now a sight to be holdsorry for the blurry pic but it my Monster Heat Shield.Blitz Super LM Air Filter.HKS Hi-Power CatBack Exhaust The Pipe i sanded down Spray with Black heat Coat hold up to degree celsius (1200F)
