Wheel candy teaser...if there is such a thing :)
says the guy who used to own Rota G-Forces...basically Advan RS...which is the biggesty most played out wheels for Evos.
Like I said before, who cars
We only have a handful of beautiful wheels for the Evo so it's bound to happen. Though I have to say I have no idea what you guys are talking about since I rarely see Evos with REAL ce28n Time Attacks

no... the spokes on CE28ns do not cave in downwards in this size until you go to a +22 or lower offset. The +28 and +34, the spokes cave in a different way... kinda like the RS but with a lip. The issue is the CE28n in the +22, they do not clear the brembos and so you have to either go with a small spacer or go to the +15. I know, I have +15 on my car. Here is a pic... sorry for the small hijack Alvin. Congrats on the wheels!
And who cares if CEs are played out... they are still one of the best looking wheels for the EVO period... like the TE37. As for the Rota comment, for the street its a question of budget.... The grid is the only wheel that looks good IMO. The CE28 knock off is just plain ugly in my opinion. I realize Volks are expensive and for what you pay for Rotas, they are bargain but if you can afford the real thing, then get Volks. Below is a pic of the +15 face which is the same as the +22.
Again, sorry for the hijack. Just wanted to clarify.
Oh, and as far as fitting a 265 on there with this offset, should be no problem with right camber a rear fender roll. I don't know if your fenders are modded or not or if you want to do that if they are not. I have 255s on my car and the offset on my wheels is alot lower so I know you wont have problems with a mild roll. I had to heavily mod my fenders... all fours rolled flat and the rears flared out 3/4" but it was worth it. Anyways post some pics already lol

and loved them on the RR. I didn't specify how many or who has or don't have them. In fact, I think we might have even talked about trading wheels a long time ago.My point is still the same. Played out or not, they're nice wheels and really who cares. I love them, so if anyone got a problem with that no worries cause it's not their car anyways
All I know is that I haven't seen any other Evos other than yours in person with them...though I don't see a lot of Evos on the eastside anyways

New thread with new pics up:
Volk ce28n Time Attack 18x9.5 +34
flushness!
Nice lip size indicates the 9.5" width

Concave city

UPDATE with pics
Taken throughout the day with daylight, shadow, and night conditions to show the different looks. With the 9.5+34 the brakes *barely* clears!
Pics taken with my buddy's 350z running on 19x9.5 and 10.5 +22 ce28 TA but with 255/35/19 and 305/35/19 tires!
